Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026. This policy explains what data Emelum collects, why, and the rights you have under GDPR.

Who we are

Emelum ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and through direct correspondence. Contact: hello@emelum.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us. If you email us, we hold your address and the contents of that message. If you accept analytics cookies, we also collect anonymised usage data (pages viewed, referrer, coarse location, device type). We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising trackers.

Why we process it

To reply to your enquiries (legal basis: legitimate interest and, where applicable, pre-contract steps at your request) and to understand how the site is used (legal basis: consent). Analytics only runs after you accept via the cookie banner.

Retention

Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after the last exchange, or longer where a contract, tax rule, or legal claim requires it. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@emelum.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
